Get to Know Our AV Production Experts

I am Juan Torres, an established, experienced video producer and the owner of AV Visionary Corp. I am an Emmy-nominated producer and director, and I have been producing The Emmys since 2017.

I was the chief video engineer @ The Waldorf = Astoria New York Hotel for 22 years. During my tenure at the Waldorf = Astoria, my many annual events consisted of numerous presidential visits, the Alfred E. Smith Dinner, the NFF Annual Awards Dinner, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, New York Engineers, Wings Club, March of Dimes, St. Jude Gala, Human Rights, New York Presbyterian Hospital Patient Kick Off, 24 Karat Club Dinner, The Jewish Foundation for the Righteous, New York Restoration Project- Bette Midler’s annual Hulaween, The Buoniconti Fund/The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, and other shows.

It came to an end in 2017 when the hotel was sold and closed for renovations. It was then that I had the opportunity to partner with a colleague and open an AV company, “Visionary Elements.”

After collaborating for a couple of years, my partner took a step down, but is still actively working on my team. In September 2019, I ventured out on my own and established AV Visionary Corp.

For the last two years, with the COVID-19 pandemic vitally affecting our lives, the industry, and the world, we have had to adapt and go virtual. Since then, we have performed over one hundred Zoom meetings and remote events.

I take a lot of pride in the quality and standards of my crew, gear, performance, and customer satisfaction. My team includes two Emmy Nominees for Graphics video editors and two cameramen, which I am highly regarded for.

We are an official vendor for The United Nations. Our extensive client portfolio consists of The Emmys, Blackstone, Challenged Athletes, NFF (National Football Foundation), S&P Platts, The Turkish Consulate, as well as New York Stock Exchange.

Recently, we had an exhilarating experience with a simulcasting event. We performed a live karaoke stream which we broadcast from Seattle, Washington, during the TV commercials on McDonald’s giant video wall in Times Square on New Year’s Eve.

We can provide video walls in numerous sizes to fit all meeting spaces in hotels and other venues.

In addition, I can provide experienced DJs made up of a generational family-based team. We can provide dance floors (wood/light up), extensive lighting, photo booths, photo montages, printing services such as pamphlets, banners, floor wraps, and any signage needed.

We are located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, so we are easily accessible to the Lexington Hotel and would have a quick response time. We provide onsite support for our contracted client events in the hotel. Our inventory is equipped with the most updated gear, and we collaborate with the best vendors in the Tri-State Area.

Think of us as your one-stop shop! You name it, and we can get it done for you with extremely satisfying results.
